Benton Vol. Fire Company

The Benton Volunteer Fire Company (BVFC) is headquartered in the Borough of Benton in rural northeast Pennsylvania. We are an all volunteer organization with over 30 active members. In 2010 we responded to 580 calls, 486 were EMS and 94 were fire calls. We provide a full range of fire suppression, rescue, EMS, and community education services to the 4,500 residents of Benton Borough, Benton Township, Jackson Township, Fishing Creek Township, and Stillwater Borough under contract. We also provide mutual aid coverage to Orange Township, Greenwood Township, Pine Township, Millville Borough, Jordan Township, Huntington Township, Fairmount Township, and New Columbus Borough serving an additional 9,500 residents totaling 100 square miles.
