Benton Vol. Fire Company

We responded to two separate wildfires as temperatures became warmer and dryer.  Brush 156, Brush 157, Engine 154, and Tanker 155 responded to St. Gabriel's Road in Sugarloaf Twp and also later in the day responded to Mountain Road in Jackson Twp.

Responded mutual aid to a well involved structure fire at Creekside Restaurant in Orange Twp.  Engine 153 supplied water to Rescue 191, Attack 152 established a water supply and filled tankers at Green Creek, Engine 154 and Tanker 155 shuttled water, Ambulance 150 transported an injured firefighter.

Dispatched mutual aid to Station 230 for a working commercial structure fire on South State Street in Millville.  Engine 153, Attack 152, Tanker 155, and Ambulance 150 responded.  Other units operating on scene were from Stations 280, 230, 320, 160 and Bloomsburg Fire Dept.

Attack 152, Engine 153, Tanker 155, and Ambulance 150 responded mutual aid to Station 230 on a second alarm structure fire on Legion road in Madison Twp.  153 and 152 provided manpower and equipment while 155 was on standby.

Dispatched to a possible Barn Fire in Jackson Twp.

Dispatched to a structure fire in Fairmount Twp.  Cancelled Enroute.

Dispatched mutual aid to Huntington Twp for a brush fire.  Attack 152, Brush 157, and Ambulance 150 responded.

Dispatched mutual aid to Millville for a working garage fire in the village or Rhorsburg, Greenwood Twp.  Attack 152, Engines 153 & 154, Tanker 155, and Ambulance 151 all responded along with Stations 230, 280, and RIT from Station 180.  Engine 233 and Attack 152 arrived on-scene to find a working garage fire with extension into the residence.  152 deployed two 1 3/4" CAFS lines for interior attack and Engine 153 deployed one CAFS line for exterior attack.  Fire was mostly contained to the rear corner of the residence.

Dispatched to a vehicle fire at an unknown location off SR239.  After a search, located the vehicle off a logging road in Jackson Twp.  Engine 153, Brush 156, Ambulance 150 responded.
